given the rate they keep cutting out panels on the USS NY, any newbie, split fins and all, could make it thru the wreck soon... 
glad u had a fun time... that guy had 500psi left in his doubles? Christ, the USS NY is so shallow you could spend hours exporing it...
Did you get a chance to do a deeper wreck? Or was deep air a big no no with your group?
edit: it is a shame that the USS NY is so close to the port and the vis so bad... it could make for some great photos with some better vis...
