SubFrame Cleaning Sticker Residue

Hi there, I just picked up a SubFrame mask and I can't seem to get rid of the mark left by the 'Caution' sticker on the lens.

No matter what I do there is still a large rectangle mark that will not go away, I can rub my fingernail over it and it feels indented.

I've tried, seabuff, toothpaste, soapy water, warm water, a toothbrush and nothing will get rid of this. Its really annoying because as soon as the mask comes out of the water the water runs off around the mark leaving a big patch right in the middle of the lens.

I've never experienced this before with any other mask, does anyone have any ideas, before I return this for a refund?

Try a little denatured alcohol.
