I am looking at an Olympus Stylus 600 camera. I hike in the rainforest of Hawaii so the weather resistant feature is a nice. My primary use will be underwater photography, so I am looking for some input if anyone has use it. It has 3 underwater settings but other than that there are no manual adjustments. I'm a beginner so I'm not sure that would matter to me right now but I want to make sure it takes good pictures. I'm also looking at the Olympus PT026 underwater housing if there is any input on that. Thanks.
By the way, I'm new at this forum stuff so bear with me if I do something wrong.

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and purchased the Stylus 600 and the PT029. I should have it soon and will hopefully be taking great pictures in no time.

Yes it does. My GF has the 500 and it takes pretty good pics. Not as good as a higher end camera and not near enough flash but pretty good.
