For wetsuit diving, AL80s are excellent.

I think it depends on what wetsuit you are diving. In warm water with a 2-3 mm, sure., bt if you are in cold water with a 7mm you want something heavier. With my full body 7mm and a steel 72 I need 30 lbs to sink.
