Hi all,

I've been shooting the Oly C-4000 in the Oly PT-010 housing for about 2 yrs now, and it's been great. However, the onboard flash is useless for local diving (deep, dark, St. Lawrence River), and I need a strobe. I was going to get one or 2 Sea & Sea YS-90DX's, but now I've heard they are discontinued. So now I'm wondering, if any of you also use the same camera/housing, what strobes do you use (I'm talking wide-angle photos in dark, very-low-light situations with hi-particulate levels). So far, I haven't had issues with my shots in the Caribbean, but most of my diving is done up north.

Please, can someone help me out, or tell me whether it's time I gave up and bought a newer camera/housing...

Thanks!
CU

Seriously, if anyone is using the same camera/housing, what strobes do you use? I need some help, please.

You could adapt a reefmaster strobe to your unit with the fiber optic kit.

I need something with a bit more guts. but thanks for the info.

I actually just found out that I can use the YS-90 Auto with my setup. Mastercard will be happy.
