Any advice on how to remove a stubborn crush washer? The valve is completely disassembled and spend some time in the ultrasonic cleaner. Thanks for any help!

Hmm, it might help to know what you have tried thus far. But, I have never encountered a crush washer that I couldn't get out with a dental pick and needle nose pliers. Of course, part of your question may well be, 'how to remove a stubborn crush washer without deforming it', and I am not sure I can help you there.

It is copper, it is cheap to replace.

I had one of these just a week ago. It ended up taking me placing a straight pick and "digging" at the washer until I got just enough of a of a gap on the side where I could get an angled pick underneath. I got frustrated and walked away at least 5 times before I finally got it out. Mine was due to a previous tech over torquing the bonnet nut. I would guess they did this to keep from replacing the washer. Good luck!

They are one time use and should be replaced every time you take off the bonnet nut. So deforming it should not a concern. Don't scratch the underlying brass of the valve tho!

Hey, I fully agree, hence my (possibly, tongue in cheek) comment! It isn't a concern for me because I always plan to replace it when I disassemble a valve. Now, having said that, I confess to reusing one or two because of poor planning - I disassembled the valve, and found the bin with the particular replacement needed was empty. In those cases, I re-used the original (obviously, I hadn't deformed it), reassembled the valve, tested it, etc. Not, ideal, but it works.
