June is a great time for diving in Stuart! Shore diving is usually excellent during the summer months. As joyster says, Elena is the Instructor at the Stuart Deep Six location- I run the Jensen Beach Deep Six. Depending on where exactly you stay, feel free to contact either shop. I am the self proclaimed shore diving expert at the Jensen Deep six, so if you have any question as to visibility or where to go, you know where to find me.
As far as charters in Stuart, none are operational just yet. I have been in contact with a very experienced captain who will be running a 6 pack Island Hopper starting within a few weeks. Come check it out as I will be DMing! Stuart diving is great for lobster hunting and spearfishing. Visibility is a little more hit or miss because the Gulf Stream is further offshore: 10+ miles whereas Palm Beach is 2-4 miles.
