So, I'm working on building an adapter to work with my Canon housing for my G9 and the Sea&Sea YS-110A's. I was wondering if anyone knows if the connector on this adapter will fit into the sea&sea slave slot?

My plan is to put both velcro tabs in front of the flash and then cover them both with the one flash hider. Thanks in advance.

Paul, did you buy that cable yet? If not I know this one works (a 6' Toslink cable from Newegg). Newegg.com - Rosewill RCW-H9001 6 ft. Toslink Optical Cable M-M - Audio Video Cables It's cheap (under $10.00), you can cut it in half and make 2 cables and the plug end fits the strobe, though if using the YS110 A w/ the diffuser you'll need to trim it a bit (quite soft & an easy trim).

Someone on SB gave a tip of winding the cable around a small dowell or pencil and heating w/ a hair dryer to have the cable coiled. I'm not much of a DIY type but I tried it and it all worked out fine--just finished 2 wks of "testing" on Bonaire on my YS110 A. Even if you did buy a cable already, this would make an excellent, cheap set of spares. Radio Shack sells the clear sticky-back "velcro" like stuff, that's cheap too. Huh, about the ONLY two cheap things in diving! :eyebrow: // ww
