Strobe burnt ? Inon s2000

Hello,

Removing the diffuser of one of my inon s2000 I saw that it looks like burned. I tried it and it works but I was wondering if there is anything that I am doing wrong or something that I can do about it.

Here are 2 pictures one of the strobe burned and the second one that looks normal to me.

I have shoot at the surface with the strobe only a few times (essentially to try if the strobe works) as I know the heating shooting at surface can be an issue
