I saw a very interesting thing on the second dive on the left side. In about
25ft of water was the body of a 300lb-400lb seal with a missing head. No other
body damage, just a missing head. I can only think of a few things that could
cause this. 1. A boat prop. strike 2. An over active fisherman with a shotgun.
3. JAWS!

Any other ideas? I know there are a few marine biologist kicking around SB!

Shark would be my guess... we have seen this before around Mt Desert Rock.
