Looks like some rain in Roatan.....

Here is Tropical Depression #1 (TD1), soon to become Tropical Storm #1 (TS1) [not in the hurricane wind speed class]

Very consistent with the general rule....

The predicted storm track posted originally above was for late Friday night.

As of Saturday evening, 6pm, it's coming ashore in Belize City at 59mph wind speed.

This represents a minor Southerly deviation from the previous computer projected path.

In Roatan, 115 miles away to the SSE, there is rain with West winds of 12mph. Looks like a wet week there.

RoatanMan, it was not as bad as all that. We had rain all night Friday night and it was pretty blustery Saturday morning, but we were still able to get in two dives We've been out diving in rougher seas than we experienced from Tropical Storm Alex...it was just fine By Sunday morning the sun was back out and you'd have never known there was a tropical system anywhere near Roatan

From what you're describing, I'll take a wild guess and say you are on the South Side at Fantasy Island.

Yep- it looked like an easy breezy deal, but as this storm continues onward NW, it will build in intensity. Exactly as how storms are expected to behave.
