since me and my son are coming down in 3 weeks and our hotel room has a fridge and microwave we figured we could do most of our meals in room..can anyone tell me if theres a grocery store near the beach..we are in between commercial blvd and oakland park blvd on ocean drive...thanks..trying to get everything down pat..before we get there..

You will probably pass a Publix supermarket somewhere on the way. Also there is a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner walking distance from the pier called Mulligan's.

Commercial blvd has all you need in a straight east west strech of less than 3 miles.
Given your coordinates you will not have to look for a store. Albertsons, Publix, & a host of specialty stores are all right there around your fix. OH...and Mikes is right around the corner! lol.

There's a Winn-Dixie right in that area on Ocean Drive (A1A) & a Publix just North of Commercial.

thanks eveyone i do apreciate it..and im sorry i forgot to mention but its ft lauderdale where im staying..just glad that someone caught that..i just want to say that people from the florida section have been so kind to me in helping me with so much info to help me to plan my trip..going to be getting my advanced while im there too as i want to dive the spiegle grove..hope i spelled that right lol..
