Storage for computer, compass, lights, etc?

I need a way to protect my computer, compass, lights etc. while carrying them or storing them in my dive bag. Right now I keep them in wool socks to just protect them from getting scratched. What do you guys use to protect your gear?

Me. I use one of these:
Oceanic Worldwide - Scuba Diving Bags - Cargo Mesh Duffel

I figure I spent a lot of money on my computer, octo, regulator, lights, etc, that spending $35 to protect it was not a problem.

I fit it into my bigger dive bag without a problem.
