stolen suunto D9

Hi everyone,

Kind of a bummer for a first post, but I wanted to let everyone in my area know that my D9 was stolen out of my apartment in Marina Del Rey. I'm hoping that if the theif pawns it and someone notices it, maybe appropiate action can be taken.

Getting ready to turn in my loss report to the sheriff's dept. It has the serial number of the watch on the report.

If any one has any additional info please feel free to PM me or reply.
The post is a long shot, but at least it makes me feel a little better

that sucks! check your homeoners or rental insurance policy I know theft of scuba equipment is covered. I would watch ebay. good luck

I'm sorry it couldn't be under better circumstances. Maybe you can join us at Vet's Park this Saturday and meet a few of us. We'll have a ScubaBoard banner up, so we'll be easy to find. We'll be there all day.

You might consider calling Suunto and seeing if they would make a note in their database that your D9 was stolen. If anyone ever tries to get it serviced it will pop up as stolen. Just a thought.

I hope it is covered under some insurance policy.
