I have a brigade that only has about 40 dives on it in two years. My power inflator button is sticking so that more air than desired enters the bladder.

My tech has looked at it, tried to lube the botton, and it hasn't helped. Any ideas of what may cause this?

Do I need a new power inflator?

Many Thanks!

I just got a new power inflater on my Scout. LDS replaced it at no charge. (Not sure if this is my nice LDS doing me a favor or part of having a Zeagle.) I have about 200 dives on it. Mine never got sticky. It worked fine until it became pocessed mid-dive in a cenote and started inflating itself. Fun times.

The tech told me to blow it with compressed air after every trip and give it a little shot of WD40 after it's rinsed and dried at the end of every trip. But I'm not so sure I want to do that.
