Thanx, I think you just cost me a lot of money, I might need to buy a digital. Those are nice images. I know nothing of digital, teach me my first factoid: does the camera record your exposure info automatically?

Yes, the data is called EXIF and is stored in the image. You can view it in Windows, for example, by right clicking, selecting properties, going to Advanced and settings. Your photo software may also show it as in PhotoShop CS Browser.

There has been alot of info posted on digital versus film. The great advantage of digital is being able to see what you just took a picture of on the LCD screen. So if you missed a shot you can try and retake it. This is especially usefull in underwater photography.
