I'd say anywhere that would be appropriate for full foot fins (ie no rocks, broken glass, etc) it would be okay. Actually, I hate wearing boots unless I really have to....just like I'm always barefoot unless I NEED to wear shoes for something. Don't care much one way or the other WHILE I'm diving, but want to get out of my boots ASAP when I'm out of the water.
