It appears the 3 liter cylinder is approximately 1/3 kilo more buoyant, so you would need to add a half a kilo to you belt.

I have to chime in and recommend a BP as some other posters already have... if you're not already using one. It's unbelievable how much difference it made in my physical comfort in diving. Both on shore (carrying gear) and in the water. Also, with a steel backplate you get to ditch 6lbs off your kit. Or more if you decide to get an extra thick one (around 11-13lbs, I believe).

I'm 5'6 and dive a HP steel 100 on a regular basis. It's the perfect length for me and I absolutely love it. The HP steel 80's are considerably smaller and I wouldn't want use one myself, but then for your height it might not be so bad.
