New to the board! Staying at the Iberostar in Cozumel, heard some not so good things, wondering about Dive with Martin, I have seen some good comments. Is it best to email him or call for reservation. Also, how far in advance should you book?

Stayed there about two years ago. Liked the resort, beach access is poor, if you just want to swim off the beach you need water shoes of some type, or you can walk out the dock to get in. The onsite dive op seemed pretty good, but I thought they were high, so I used Papa Hogs. You may want to use the search feature to look for old posts about Dive with Martin. I've never spoken directly to anyone that has used them.

Also you may want to check out this post from a few days ago.

We use Dive With Martin and think they are great. You do need to send him an email and let him know when you are diving and what hotel you are staying at. Due to Iberostar being buttheads you may have trouble getting picked up there. Martin can tell you whether or not they will pick you up or if you need to make arrangements to be picked up somewhere else. Have fun!
