For those who commented, my tattoo is a Maori design. It is a "hei tiki" of a taniwha (pronounced tah-nee-fah, with the accent on the first syllable). A taniwha is alternately a monster or a guardian of the waters, depending on whether or not you want to scare children. Thanks for the compliments. I like it too. :blush:
