Any scubapro dive computer users out there?

My aladin sport matrix is my first dive computer and I really like the simplicity. I have not used it much but have found though that it appears to only register the beginning of a dive after I've gone below 2 metres.

Does that sound plausible? I have not found anything specific in the manual about how to enter dive mode. It does say that upon submerging the water contacts active the Aladin Sport automatically. It doesn't specifically say 'dive mode' started. The automatic end of dive 5 minutes after being on the surface works fine.

Thanks in advance.

Most dive computers will begin to register depth and time when it senses pressure around a meter/yard or so. I can't remember, without looking at the manual, the specific pressure (depth) in which the Aladin Sport starts to register the dive. You should be able to find that in the manual which you can download from SP's website.
