... I want some... where do I get 'em?

I've got plenty of brass in different sizes and the mandrels to install them... but I want me some shiny SS ones with a 1/2" hole.

UP,

A great site for all types of SS hardware is McMaster Carr at http://www.mcmaster.com/. They have a great online catalog. If you do a search on grommets they'll show up. You can also get d-rings, snaps, webbing, surgical tubing, etc., etc.. They have 99.9% of items in stock and will ship the same day for next day delivery.

Hey Pug,

Try some of the local sailmakers, they often use stainless grommets and have the press with enough grunt to put them in too. :D

Bronze rings or grommets can be done by hand but stainless of most useable sizes needs a hydraulic press.
