Hey I'm going to Bermuda and when i'm there I'm going to be diving a single for the first time in a long time. Anyway I need a single tank adapter to fit with my dive rite backplate. How is the halycon STA? Does it work well with the backplate? Does anyone have any other STA's that they have used with dive rite gear before that work well?

Thanks a lot

I use a OMS STAwith mine but really any STA should work. Hammerhead has a couple of lower cost options that work well (I have both the both the heavy one piece as well as the two piece).

My dive rite sta works well :)

I have the Halycon STA on my DR backplate and it works well. I think it's a bit wider than the DR, also have the 6lb removable weight in mine.

The Halcyon Weighted STA works really well for me with my DR backplate and REC wing.:D

i like the Dive Rite STA

it's the only one iv'e owned, so nothing to compare it to

I use a Hammerhead Scuba STA with my DR plate and it works great. And the price is hard to beat. It might be a little heavy for Bermuda though.

as long as the holes align , you can use any STA that fits your weight requirements.
