i currently use an SS STA w/ 2 cam bands and i'm planning on shifting to a aluminum mini STAs

but i'm a cheap-ass bugger... seriously

if i get just 1 mini STA and move 1 of my cam bands from the SS to the alum, will i have tank stability and security issues? with either of the STAs?

jonix only uses 1 cam band on his STA but it's in the middle of the STA... my plan will have a cam band attached only towards the top of the tank...

Not sure I can answer the question, but I took a drill and gouged out another (central) cam band slot in my Al BP so that I could run a single Cam band in the center of the plate. It works fine with one band there for me.
