The hotels seem cheaper on the west end. How is the west end of the island for diving and snorkeling? Or should I stay on the east end?

West end! Hands down. We were very suprised by the number of quality wrecks on the west end as compared to only a couple on the eastern side. Some of the wrecks are more advanced, but still plenty for the novice to intermediate diver to enjoy. We would do a wreck dive on our 1st tank and a shallower reef dive on the 2nd tank. Even the reefs seemed nicer than what we were exposed to on the east end diving. Would strongly suggest Blue Island Divers if diving on the west end. They were awsome! St. Thomas scuba diving

Any dive shop reccommendations? I am going there in March (4 of us). Hull bay and Coki sound like decent shore dives. Any must see Dive sites in St Tom anyone?

Blue Island Divers husband and wife dive team have left and new owners. 1 day of diving and won't go back. If you have a number of dives booked and show up, you get cancelled if you are the only divers. NO NOTICE, so your left looking for a new shop. We went to St Thomas Diving club, and owner (and Captain) Andre were terrific, and we had a great week of diving. Thx also to Divemasters Jessica (one tall woman) and Rachel. Highly recommend.

St Thomas Diving Club great. Capt Andre knows the sites in detail, and an excellent Capt. Good staff, friendly and honest. No nonsense, good value.
