St. Maarten - Dive OP at Pelican Resort Club?

My wife and I are going to St. Maarten in May and have reserved diving with Ocean Explorers. We are staying at The Pelican Resort Club. Do any of you have any experience diving with the operation the Pelican offers? Pelican's website lists a dive shop and offers scuba as an activity, but I can't seem to find any more info than that.

Any information or advice on this would be appreciated.

I have stayed at the Flaminco (next door) twice and both times used Dive Adventures (Aqua Mania). I actually did my check out referals with them and couldn't have been more pleased. Vinnie, Kurt, Maho, Michael, Jody and the rest of the DM's are very attentive and will take you were you want to go. I recommend trying to make it to Time Tunnels, Hens and Chickens and the places that has the meteor crater.

Also, if you get a chance, you have to eat at the Peg Leg Pub. The steaks there are the best I have ever had.

We will be there in September and I can't wait!!!

Thanks for the info. I will be in St Maartin in Late June. I plan on going to Saba for a day of diving, but wanted to get in some dives in on St. Maartin.
