Hey everyone, I did a great trip with my girlfriend to St. Lucia at the beginning of April and had a great time. Since my GF doesn't dive, we stayed at Sandals Regency so she would have a ton of things to do while I was out in the water. I was very surprised and impressed. I'm normally one to go off the beaten path to pick adventure over luxury but the Sandals experience for us was really great.

Check out my photos online here: www.mcdemon.com/stlucia2005

The diving was good. I may lean a little more towards cozumel, but the Sandals dive operation was really top-notch... not to mention, included in the package price. Sandals has really new and nice boats, great DM's and we dove some really good spots. Superman's Flight, Piton, etc. The marine life leans a little toward the macro side -for you photographers- but there was a nice array of fish, seahorses and even a few turtles.

On the way to St. Lucia from Los Angeles, my GF and I kept talking about what we had just signed up for.. we figured that Sandals would 'skimp' on a lot of things... we were wrong. Everything was included - tips too! All that I paid for was a couple of fantastic island excursions, a day of spa for her, our caddies on the beautiful golf course and the $22 tax to go home.

I've read some mixed reviews of Sandals resorts on here but for me, the St. Lucia regency was awesome. I would do it again for sure.

Man you can design my website anytime! Great job with the pics!

I agree, I first learned to dive at Sandals Grand St Lucia in their resort course. Very professional, safe and great guys to dive with. That got me hooked!
I'd go back to a Sandals in a heartbeat.
