St. Croix, USVI (STX) - Trip Report 5/24/16 - 6/4/16

We took the Cruzan Rum Factory tour and it was a lot of fun!

Of course you can now also take the Captain Morgan distillery tour, but they don't have CRUZAN RUM!

All windows and the porch had bars. Like I said we never felt a threat but it was sad to see this much prevention needed.

The condo that I stay at has bars on the windows and a means to bar the porch doors also (upstairs and downstairs.) I think it's pretty common because people tend to leave windows open. Funny I never really thought of them for security before (guess I thought it was the style, lol), even though I know that's what they're for.

Two signs I need to get back to ST. Croix: 1) Finished 3 bottle sof Cruzan Rum in last 2 weeks - need more 2) My aunt-in-law (who lives there) invited us back just a few hours ago!!!!!!!! Now to make it happen.

Hi PlantationBelle - The forecast for our week at the end of May was for rain every day. Turned out to be a few showers here and there, nothing dramatic or limiting our diving. The air temps were in the high 80s and the water a constant 80F. Have fun and let us know your experience.
