Our Foundations course will be $379 + gas + any boat & site fees. $179 of that is the course materials.divemaster_jim:Thanks Uncle Ricky.
Any idea on ballpark costs?
MikeFerrara:Oh well, " technical" diving is getting more popular. As it does, it's only expected that all the agencies will get in on it. then too, it's not like the "tech" agencies have done such a great job that there isn't room for competition.

If someone's starting without all of their own equipment then they'll have that expense too, including one dedicated deco bottle and regulator. Our course (Adventure Sports II in Montgomery) will be tailored towards the Gulf of Mexico (rigs & wrecks & spearfishing) and the Florida springs (prep for the NACD/NSS-CDS cave curriculum). I plan do two qual dives in the springs and four in the gulf, with two of those on the Oriskany, but of course site selection can vary depending on conditions and student desires.
