Saw three big squid boats and millions of seabirds last night, in an area between Ventura and Malibu that reportedly sees regular squid runs. Also heard that isolated patches of eggs may have been spotted at Redondo, at about 65 and 85 ft. Anyone seen any squid recently?

MaxBottomtime:
I saw two squid in Redondo Thursday. There's a full moon this week, so maybe we'll find more.

Full moon... ? HBDiveGirl mentioned something about a correlation between the squid and the moon. She suggested that they run on the third or fourth night after the full moon. Is that a true behavior, sort of like the way coral spawn after a full moon?
