- I use them cause i can get my fins on and off faster and easier with all the gear in the water

- Also depending on the fin company some of the rubber strap tend to brake at the worst time and the spring straps are much more realiable

- Self adjusting / more flexability

Made them for my volos. Great. Need to make some for my Jets though

Mine were home made, but not by me.

People talked about them so much I decided to try them on my Mares Avanti Quattro's. Easier to get on and off. Don't have to re-adjust the straps all the time or clip/unclip anything. Won't break on a dive trip. So far, I like them.

Homeade by me.

They are SO easy to use, its like a dream. Love them.

When I purchased my set of volos, I broke the strap on my first dive. I was soo ticked. Thankfully a zip tie did the trick for a fast fix. What did you use to make your spring straps? Thanks for any info.

Got them also because of easier on/off, but mostly for shore diving, where any method getting them on quicker/easier is a big bonus.

Still have the rubbers on it that came with them stock. I prefer my full foot fins for most dives.. but then again, I live in a much warmer environment that most everyone whose posted so far.

I made 'em and love 'em. They're on Oceanic V12's. Very easy on and off, always fit, no change needed when I'm wet in booties, or, diving dry. And, they look really cool too!
