Hi,

I've been looking into diving some of the local springs around clearwater. I'm actually in countryside and have been looking at some of the locations in Palm Harbor and Tarpon. Also Hudson and Tampa. Anyone interested in buddying up for a few of these? I'm into exploring some new sites where you don't have to pay! I'm AOW so no cave, but interested in cavern. Also, does anyone know where Big Jack Hole is? Can't seem to find it.

Thanks,
Aujax

32 miles from Johns Pass on a 225 degree course.

Entrance is in 110 feet of water. Bottom is >300 feet.

From Ned DeLoach's "Diving Guide to Underwater Florida"

There a few in Hudson which is fairly close I have been to one called Hudson Grotto not to much to look at but it is deep and good place to get some skills. Drop me an IM if interested

yeah, i know, I need to get that book. i found a good website that lists all the local stuff. most of those places the people at the dive shops don't even know about. it's here:
