I don't have to ask you why you like them, Marg!! Look at all that purple vibrancy. And those patterned spots and stripes... You'd wear their shells if you could!

Truth be told, so would I!

Nope. Pederson's have little dark purple spots:

look for them on carpet anemones. I found several on Cedral Pass last May.

I look for them on ALL anemones. (Like I said, I like them!) They are certainly easier to photograph on carpets though.
