Spotted Cleaner Shrimp

Saw this on our second dive today (Cedar Mountains). Don't ask me why I like them, but I do.

I don't have to ask you why you like them, Marg!! Look at all that purple vibrancy. And those patterned spots and stripes... You'd wear their shells if you could!

Nope. Pederson's have little dark purple spots:

I am no expert, but looking at the photos in my Humann book, I thought it much more closely resembled the picture of the spotted shrimp.

look for them on carpet anemones. I found several on Cedral Pass last May.

I look for them on ALL anemones. (Like I said, I like them!) They are certainly easier to photograph on carpets though.
