We had another chance to visit Telford spring last week. If it's not clear why I say "spooky" in the title then watch the ending.

The video was shot while exiting the system so the beginning is the areas furthest from the entrance. It's interesting to note the increase in ceiling marks as we make our way closer to the entrance. Darn doubles divers :)

It was so nice a couple of years ago when you could drive in, park at Terrapin Sink, which got you in about 450 feet, and dive. That allowed you go skip the river passage and made it easier to plant your stage bottles.

Telford is a very pretty cave, especially the farther back you go. I remember one staged dive when we made it all the way back to the Aardvark Room, having tried to get there a couple of times before.

Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it.

Greetings Mat I have not been in Telford as of yet but I have seen the marks you mention at other locations as well!
I am not sure if all BM divers are aware of the marks that get left behind.
I know some who do not leave any marks anywhere!
After SM diving clearance and positional awareness did become easier for me personally.
Telford is a beautiful spring thanks for sharing the video.

CamG Keep diving....Keep training....Keep learning!

Cool video. I need to get back there sometime.

Did you know there was a death at Telford several years ago and the recovery teams never found the body? It was found about 5 years later by another team just doing a dive in there. Now that had to be spooky!

I had heard something about that incident. Something I hope not to have to encounter. That would definitely be a shock!

I guess the usual applies, dive withing your training, ability and comfort. Hope to never have to worry about something like that...
