Buddy forgot his lead on a very nice diving day, a bit away from town (shore dive, cold water, drysuit). . I sorted him out ( :

(Scrap metal found at the shore... it worked, good dive.. for me at least ; )

I got to the end of the ramp, fins on, reg in mouth, a little air in BC and drysuit, holding my mask, and the crewman said one word: "Gloves?"

It would have been a VERY COLD dive!

Did that myself in Seattle, as described earlier. After an hour my hands were just frozen from the wrist down - no sensation or movement.
