I've just started trying to assemble my first DIR Rig. I currently use an Aeris atmos 2 AI. I like the idea of keeping things off my wrist, especially in a dry suit. A quality retractor keeps it close and at my waist. A separate SPG gives me the redundacy I crave & the compass stays on the wrist........ Any thoughts

Well, it's not DIR. But if it works for you, then great.
 
I know the last post was over 2 months ago, but obviously Centex1 didn't like the kool-aid.:wink: Go with what works for you.
