Is "Gerbaldi" the correct spelling for the bright orange fish (CA, north west coast). Just uploading some new pictures to my website and labeling them. Thanks and sorry for the only semi photo topic post.

Looked it up on Google and it appears that the correct spelling is Garibaldi, like the famous Italian.

Does anyone know if there is an online equivilant of Paul Humann's books? If not, perhaps we should start one on here wink

Simon, there are several fish identification sites on the net. I don't have the links right here but I'll try to pull together a couple and make a posting. TedJ

Thanks, I loaned my Pacific coast fish ID book to a friend a month ago and didnt have it to refrence =)

Not bad, I scored a 73% on the fish ID quiz. Thanks Dee for passing it along.

Thanks Dee...great quiz...only managed 54%, but am still learning :) Did not realise they did a CD-Rom as well as the books. Has anyone used the CD-Rom, or should I just stick to the book?
