last minute decision to get a few dives in before cold WX arrives tonight and extending thru the holiday weekend. partly sunny skies and light winds gave way to extensive cloud cover and variable/blustery NORTHWEST winds(8-20KTS!). 1 ft seas increasing to 2-3FT. double on mooring ball SG4(portside aft crane). blue water, viz a decent 50-60FT, light to minimal reverse current , water temp a constant 77F @ 60-100FT. a few tech folks from HORIZION DIVERS on dive #1, had the ship to ourselves on dive #2. not bad diving for mid-january!! you got that right! just made the call to confirm for tomorrow. the forecast calls for evening lows in the 60-70's, highs 75-80F thru sunday. the above mentioned cold front weakens as it approaches the keys!!!
