James, we're all glad that you had a good time and that we were able to find you some sea lions! Do let us know if you need another sea lion fix....I'm sure we can arrange it

Apparently Stephen and I had no idea we were taking a picture! It appears we are too busy pulling our suits over our heads.
The dive master quickly asked us if we wanted a pic, we didn't have time to get everyone's attention :D

I'll try to make it back to Cali this spring. It's a loooong trip on the way back for 1 day of diving (9hrs with time zone loss), but was well worth it!
SoCal SBers are the best dive peeps :grouphug: , everyone is so welcoming...I miss the folks, the kelp forrests, and the sealions too. (OK don't miss the water temps)

Glad you had a fun dive trip James. Hope to see you again at Ginnie Springs for Megadive in a few weeks!
I'm going to try to make itup there. :)

James, was great having you out here. So glad we got to hit some nice highlight dives on the Spectre. Trip ran beautifully. Nice pics you snapped as well.

You *should* have joined me and Stephen on that second dive: no kicking, 16 GSBs (!!!!), bat rays, groups of huge male sheephead, sea lions (again), and dense schools of blacksmith, jack mackerels, and senoritas. :)

The logistics here are easy enough for us to help accommodate and gear up people from out of town. It's well worth coming west!

Great pictures and write-up. I gotta make it out there some day soon.

Henrik

Do let us know if you head out this way....rumor has it you're closer to us now :D

Yep, closer by quite a bit even. A short flight or a really long drive :)

Indeed, always fun to have people come in from out of town. :)

Thanks guys. I'm working on it, and will be sure to let you know.

Henrik

Did you *just* find this thread? Talk about SA...

:P
Well, I have a dry, dry suit now, so I think round 2 planning needs to start soon. Sometime early spring :)
