I plan to put a SPEC cap on my Scubapro Mark III. Do I need a special kind or quality of silicone grease to fill the cap, or just something from the hardware store?

Thanks.

Most folks have switched to Christo-lube mcg 111 or Tribolube 71 because they are oxygen safe. However if you're not going to use the MK 3 with concentrations of O2 higher than 40% then food grade silicone is all you really need.

I have a few NOS ScubaPro tubes you are welcome to have for the price of shipping. PM me with your snail mail address if you want them.
