I want to fish where you been fishing. Maybe you can get close to reds and marbled, but try that with a black.

I agree my friend!! I can't count the number of times a big black has split the distance between me and another spearo and run the gauntlet to get back to his cave, not giving us a shot. Stalking black grouper and almost turning away from them is key. They are one of the smartest fish in the ocean and really hard to get them to hole up. And they know those caves that curve around like the Taliban do.
