I have contacts and want to start carrying a spare mask for those just in case times. Where do you put your spare mask? Will be using bp/w so no luxury of bc pockets. Thigh pockets any good or just glue one on wetsuit?

Just buy a pocket to slide on the webbing. Diverite, Bowstone and loads of others make them.

I need one to carry my pocket mask, strobe, whistle, tables and slates.

Get thigh pockets, you can use them lots of things. You don't need a special pocket just for your mask. That's silly...

I could see why you'd want one though. If I lost my mask, I'd be blindly digging for my spare... it'd be nice to know exactly where it is and have practiced deploying it, and it'd be nice to do it without dumping out my knife/slates/sausages/whatever else you might keep in there.

ppo2_diver:
Thigh pockets glued onto your wetsuit or drysuit.

If you go this route you will be happy you did :D I think in the hot deals section there were glue on pockets for $20 a piece. Very streamlined and not in the way when donning and doffing your BP/W. If you use your wetsuit for other sports, you might still be able to find X-shorts even though they are not made anymore. That is the route I went on my multi-use wetsuit, but glued pockets on my drysuit.

Everything in my pockets is clipped off to a bungee, it's you can't really lose anything. I'd be impressed if you could fit a knife/slate/sausage/something else all in one pocket! I only have a mask and spool in one pocket, sausage and wetnotes in the other. It's pretty easy to find the mask in that.
