I went out to spanish rocks last night. We hit the water about 8pm. We hadn't planned on getting started so late, but traffic was horrid getting there. Anyway, it was the best shore dive I have done around here. Visibility was awesome. I have never seen it that good. We were expecting viz of about 5 - 8 feet but instead got about 20 feet. We of course had trouble finding the rocks but eventually did. Thanks to our LP 95s we still had plenty of time to explore. We saw quite a few crabs, some nice fish, and some small shrimp. I tried desperately to find a seahorse but no such luck. After an 83 min dive the cold got the best of us and we decided to head in. This dive was such a pleasant surprise.

spanish rocks dive sunday? Sorry I declined the dive last nite now. Maybe next time Michelle.

Thats okay. It was very last minute and we weren't expecting much. On Sunday I am doing rescue class work with Greg till 4. I could do another late dive that day. I would just need enough time to get something to eat and get up there. Let me know what you were thinking.
