I'm a Fish!
Following the success of our trips to the Galapagos for the last 2 years we are running another one from August 22nd to 29th 2011 on the Humboldt Explorer Liveaboard vessel.

It's the trip of a lifetime!!!

There are 16 places on the boat however we only have 10 available as 6 already booked. We expect these places to go fast as there are only 11 months to go, and often reservations for Galapagos are needed 12 months in advance. The diving is some of the best in the world, and our groups tend to be experienced divers, which gives us a more enhanced group diving experience.

We can also accommodate up to 8 rebreather divers on this trip, and 3 rebreather divers have confirmed, so there are 5 more spaces, and there is a $1500 supplement for CCR divers that include all sofnolime, gases, pump use, tank rental.

The amount for this trip is $4295 and actually includes nitrox and there is a $150 fuel surcharge.

The trip cost does not include park fees, tips, flights or hotel nights, but locally these can be arranged by our agent in Ecuador.

It's worth combining with a week before or after doing other trips on the islands or in Ecuador or Peru.

Here's a sample itinerary;

Day 1 (day of arrival) On Saturday you will arrive aboard at San Cristobal Island, followed by a check out dive at Isla Lobos. This site is the home for many sea lions, as well as sand dollars, black-blotched stingrays, puffers and sea stars.

Day 2 Three dives are scheduled at North Seymour and Mosquera which gives the opportunity to see Galapagos garden eels, sea turtles, sea lions, fur seals, golden eagle rays, yellowtail grunts, bigeye jacks, schools of snappers and frequent sightings of whitetip reef sharks, hammerheads, and Galapagos sharks.

Day 3 - 5 Every day three dives will be made at Wolf Island or Darwin Island. These dive sites are very well known for the high presence of hammerheads, and big Galapagos sharks. There is also the likelihood of seeing marine turtles, various types of rays, mantas, dolphins, moray eels, and invertebrates.

Day 6 Three dives are scheduled at Roca Redondo and Vincente Roca where often sun fish, hammerheads, white tip reef sharks, manta rays, sea horses and Galapagos sharks can be spotted.

Day 7 On this day two dives at Cousins Rock and Bartolome island are made in the morning, followed by a Guided visit to the town of Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island in the afternoon. Cousins Rock is a perfect site for seeing black juvenile corals, Galapagos seahorses, octopuses, hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, green sea turtles, eagle rays, and schools of barracudas. Day 8 (day of departure) Check out day and departure from San Cristobal.

Our Wolf Buddy and Darwin Buddy ensure a diving experience that will not be forgotten for a long time. This itinerary is subject to change without notice by the authorities of the Galapagos National Park Service depending on environmental reasons.

On our trip this year we had Whale sharks, Hammerheads, Manta Rays, Dolphins, Sea lions, hundreds of schooling fish, turtles, and wait for it………………….Orcas!!!!!

We need a 30% deposit ASAP of $1288 to confirm a place and the balance is due March 10th 2011, and as the policy is non-refundable we recommend trip insurance.

Do this trip whilst fish stocks last and in good company of fellow dive pro's! Check out my videos FROM 2010;

There are still 3 CCR spaces available and 4 Open circuit places on this trip, hope you can make 2011 be the year and join us!!!!

We still have a few spaces for open circuit divers on this trip, and our itinerary has had an increase from 3 days at Darwin/Wolf to 4, this is rumored to be cut back to 2 days as of next year, so there's never been a better time to book. Please contact me ASAP if interested!
