I have a Scubapro Mk25 set up for k valve tanks. What part, or kit would I need to order to use my 1st Stage on a HP din valve.

Approximate cost? Scubapros web site does not lhave this info.

One on the shops where I am this week showed me the swap was simple and its common for people to do this on there own, when traveling. He just wasn't a SP dealer so he couldn't provide me specifics

Thank You in advance

is that the conversion kit is about $60 from a LDS. You can find them online as well for a bit less.

The same kit allegedly fits the 25, 20, 10 and perhaps some others. There is a DIFFERENT one for Mk2, so I assume the "common" one WILL NOT fit that first.

You would need a DIN conversion kit, cost around $60-70. I would NOT get one from anyone other than SP. I also would not install in yourself as you need correct tools and knowledge of how the regulator is setup.

The only "correct tool" is the cut-down socket to get the yoke nut off. It CAN be done with other tools, but you're likely to mark up the yoke. On the other hand, since you're removing it, do you care? :)

The sintered filter goes in pointing the other direction for the DIN connection. The kit has a diagram enclosed with it and takes all of 5 minutes to put on.

BTW, there is also a small ($20) piece you can get that will convert your old yoke to a DIN/Yoke converter. GET THIS, as if you find yourself in a place with only K-valve tanks at some point this will allow you to use them with your reg.

In addition to the special socket (I made my own) you should also have a torque wrench (both DIN and yoke call for 266 in lb torque)and an allen socket to do the job right. And you'll need a vise or something to hold the reg body.

A torque wrench! Oh my Gosh! Someone other than me actually has and uses one?!

(Don't even get me started on the lack of them in the dive shops!)

I am wanting to order a HP tank for use at home but when Im on the road traveling if a HP is not available to rent I want to be able to change back to the yoke.

What I have seen about the adapters is they pust the 1st stage closer to your head.

Since, I will already have everything I need I may as well just switch it back when needed.

Thanks again
