Check out the Lake Effect Divers subfourm (found in Great Lakes Wrecking Crew), there are several people there from your area who dive the lakes and may have some tips for you. I know they usually drive over here to Buffalo to buy their gear as they like my LDS better for price and service than they can find in Rochester.
