Anyone using an oly sp-350 w/ oly pt-030 housing and mating to a sea&sea ys-90 strobe?
New to UW photography, but am aiming in this direction.
What cables to make this work and where to find them?
Thanks in advance,
Craig-

Nevermind. This neophite didn't comprehend the concept of "slave mode."
Enjoy!

Ryan, I am also very new to this, have Oly 5060 with Oly PT 020 housing, YS90 strobe. Currently my strobe is fired by a fiberoptic type cord fastened to the front of the housing directly in front of the camera flash diffuser. I hope that is the proper terminology. If I am understanding you correctly, I am able to install the bulkhead from your link, along with the proper connection cord, and have TTL? If so, where is the best place to order the needed accessories? thanks.....

Hi GDog,

You are understanding me perfectly.

I are reefphoto.com :), I apologize for not making that more clear (on other boards I have an industry tag or something that warns you against my bias).

As far as I know, we are the only store installing these bulkheads. Included in the price is installation, pressure testing, and function testing. So obviously we need your housing for a day or two...

You'd also need a Sea & Sea Nikonos Style Sync Cable, and you are ready to go diving!

Thanks Ryan. I dont' have time to get stuff off to you and back before we leave.
I'll work with what I've got this go, but will hook up after returning for some "mods."

ckofabq. Be carefull when you close the PT-30 those little strings that are the lanyard for the lens cover like to sneak over the oring in the bottom left corner of the housing. Trust me it will leak and it makes you feel really dumb. I am still in mourning over my stupidity.domino22

Thanks Domino22. Very good advice. I'm already taking it an extra step. An Oly user buddy told me to get rid of the lens cover completely and replace it with a simple, screw in uv filter. It will take the bumps and such, protecting the primary glass. I still see the lanyard string for the viewfinder hood is in a precarious position. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks mucho.
