1st off I used the search funtion couldn;t find what I was looking for.

Just got the case for my sp350 today, and am curious what you guys are using for the my mode setting without an external flash. I heard rumors that tha lcd display will not function quite right underwater (black out)...so I am looking for settings prior to my first use.

Thanks in advance (even though I am sure the info is somewhere in this cyberspace).

man....people kept on buying sp350. i better buy a spare soon before it's gone in the mkt....

I think the firmware updates on the Olympus website fix the blackout problem. I made sure to update my SP-350 and have never seen the blackout happen yet.

i have the latest firmware and i have to disable the histogram to keep the screen bright

If you use the histogram, the screen will give you actual light conditions. You have to disable it in dark conditions or you'll only see the screen when you have the shutter button depressed.
