Has there ever been an OFWF M&G in southwestern Ontario? Would anyone be interested in organizing such a thing?

The only one I know of was in Kingston in about 2004 I think. Since then a rift between some members of the OFWF and the SB admins caused them to leave and create their own board for Ontario Diving. From the way this forum has been ever since, they took most of the "Freaks" with them. If you can find it, its really worth checking out. (I'm not allowed to post the URL, as I've been cautioned about it before)

There was one years ago when the OFWF forum was really active.

Actually there were 2 of them. DivingGal was the main organizer. The first M&G in 2003 was a day of shore diving in the Brockville area and was a great day. The organizing group even had T-shirts with a big OFWF logo on the back (found one in my drawer this morning). We met up in Prescott, dove the Connie, the Rothesay and the park in Brockville. If I recall correctly, between 30 & 40 showed up. The following summer, 2004, we did a charter in Kingston with Big Jim (may have been some overflow on another boat too). Not as many people, but a great day. In both cases, our first dives in these areas and we've been back again to both.
