Only by chance will conditions on the SG be diveable. I was on the SG August 1005 and five of us encountered probably the best day of diving in our lives. A managable surface current and almost no current on the wreck. We were the only boat on the wreck and did two dives on her. All my other dives have been either a "fly by" or fighting the current.

Since current is the mainstay of this site, you should hook up with a dive charted like Diver City or Tavenier Dive Center. They know how to get you in the water and back onboard when the current is raging. If you have no experience with diving in currents, then you should pass on this dive.

Let us know when your in the area and maybe a few of us locals can hook up with you and show you some of the other great wrecks around here.

That would be great to link up with locals to get the inside!!! How would I go about that. Hell Id even pay for your charter if you got me to some nice dives! Of course if they turn out .....tty then... Just Kiddin

Its kind of fun to see them put a shell dry suit on in late November when a 3mm is all we need! but they do and will hook you up with some great dives!

Always welcome a new face to dive with. We brought the boat up from Panama City a year ago and just love diving from it. Drive up and be sure to tell me your from Scuba Board which will cut your personal charter cost in half.
